Last day of NYWF and here is my favourite looks from it.
Above is one more amazing Proenza Schouler collection. Sportswear inspired, very sculpt looks with a lot of geometric prints, perforated garments and snakeskin leather were presented in a show. I also can’t forget fringes fever, which just got spread here.
Some geometry were brought by J. Mendel to the runway. Architectural and art inspired collection, red was the outstanding colour embodied in leather jackets and mini dresses.
Calvin Klein Collection showed how traditional knitwear can be transformed into something more innovative. Very elegant and clean looks were seen on runway as we all could expect from Calvin Klein.
Elegance and sophistication dwelled in Erin Fetherston spring collection.
Oh, those cargo pants and shirts, so Ralph Lauren figured out how to pull them off in various ways. Inspiration were brought from wilderness of safari.
Marc Jacobs inspiration came from short film by John Smith “The Girl Chewing Gum” (1976) and Vietnam war movements back in 60ties. As Marc said in backstage “The idea was to put everybody in their own world”.
