I really enjoyed to be part of this amazing fashion event. Until now, I was only able to see fashion through media most of the times, and I can say without a doubt that being there really involves you to the atmosphere of collection and lets you to see work of the designer with a naked eye, where you can understand more about collection, every piece and every detail.
The show started with Daniela Barros youthful Fall/Winter collection for 2015/2016 season. Draping and asymmetry were all over the garments, gorgeous two heights dresses these captured my eye, I like the ideia of showing not too much of skin. Collection was based on neutral colours, such as black, white, nude, beige. Looks were accessorised with leather backpacks or handbags without much decoration or ornamentation same as collection itself.
Hugo Costa presented a neutral sporty collection. Layering played a big part in this collection, girls adapted loose, boyish looks. Hugo Costa also showed a fresh, new way of a dress for a girl, one sleeve of the shoulder and tightened with the belt coats were transformed into dresses.
Mafalda Fonseca presented masculine collection, here grown man is rebellious and keen. Layering here also was very important here. Materials and patterns were perfectly incorporated. One more time whole collection was based on neutral colours, only here I could able to see a try to blend in some burnt yellow suede details. I really wanted to see some colour, because it seemed that neutrals persisted through collections from the beginning, so seeing other colour than neutrals was very refreshing.
Katty Xiomara collection led an army of powerful and confident women. It seems that looks are transpassing from 40ties to 50ties styles. Edgy military looks here adapted a more soft, relaxed and girly manner. Army green, shades of khaki is a perfect combination with neutrals. Katty Xiomara explored a combination of printed patterns and lace details. In the end models showed the ideia of 40ties-50ties girl introduced to digital world, taking selfies everywhere around herself.
